National Breastfeeding Week

I volunteer as a Breastfeeding Supporter for the Breastfeeding Network. It took a long time training and many assignments to get to the point of being a supporter, so it was great to take our drop in and skills to the lovely White House Play Café in Hitchin today for the first time. We had eight Mums come along and we thought it went very well and hope they did too. We will be starting a regular once a month drop in at the café on the second Tuesday of the month starting in July. This is a shot of myself, Charlotte who owns the café and Lindsay (a BfN helper in the process of doing her supporter training, who is also a blipper.).

The morning was spent at work, then the drop in, then I legged it to HBS to catch the end of the schools athletics and help walk the kids back to school. The school were third overall, so they don't progress, but C's relay team won so she was happy. Then it was on to swimming with Will and home. C meanwhile went to ballet and returned unscathed.
