Sing a song of summer

With summer whispering her siren song, the frantic nest building and nursery tending behavior of the wrens has ceased. They are no longer zipping to and fro, feathering their nests and carrying food to their young, and they have returned to singing melodious tunes that can be heard along the trail. They were a joy to watch this evening.
