The Last Supper

This is mine & Jenny's last meal in Guildford & in honour of our much admired Gok, who we cooked many a meal of over our last month or so here, we cooked Pork & Ginger from his amazing new Chinese Cook Book. Brilliant! It was a real corker tonight, very strong flavours.. even if I do say so myself. That, chilled Cava & 500 Days of Summer made for a lovely evening in.

Our last evening in ol' Guilly that has played host to us for the last year. Actually sad that it's nearly over. Never thought i'd be saying that after the tough year we've had but then I kinda thought that might be the case in hindsight.

Did some packing up this afternoon & will finish up on the morrow & leave for the last time. I tackled the pretty gross oven today, Jenny was hoovering upstairs & Monkey was making himself back at home again. Standard.
