New Spuds...........

To all my gardening friends on Blip, can you tell me is there anything more satisfying than digging the first new potatoes????
This was in my garden this morning
Putting your fork in and turning over that first stalk of spuds......!
For me, it is without doubt one of the high-lights of the gardening year...!
And while the quantity may not be so great this year, the quality is superb!!!
At long, long last, after patiently (or not) waiting, and very late this year, we tasted our first new potatoes, and they were well worth the wait, they are gorgeous...!
