Wideangle Wednesday: Links - Kings Cross Station

Thanks once more to Bobsblips for looking after Widwed at present; he's suggested "Links" as today's theme.

I've been to London today for a meeting this afternoon, interviewing applicants for a travel award for them to go and obtain additional clinical and/or research experience in their chosen career as eye specialists elsewhere in the UK or the world. We had £30,000 to award, which we divided between 2 applicants, so it was quite a responsibility; it's nice to think that I can still be useful to the world of ophthalmology even though I've retired.

The new(ish) extension to Kings Cross station has lots of links in its supporting structure; I know it's been blipped before by several others but I thought this fisheye view (taken with my clip-on phone camera lens) might be a bit different and would fit today's Widwed theme. And a railway station provides travellers with links to lots of other parts of the country so it qualifies in two ways.
