In My World

By JoanneInOz

So many new friends!

Bronte and I had a big day out, beginning with dropping my car off at the mechanics to be serviced. There, Bronte had a cuddle with one of the service guys and her photo taken by another customer who told me his wife loved Labradors and would adore Bronte!

After getting a lift back to our factory (the business we own, which my husband runs) we did the rounds of all of our business neighbours to introduce our new baby girl. Of course, she won everyone's heart with those big 'seal-like' eyes and her soft, cuddly fur!

After lunch, we visited the pet shop, where we bought some Bronte essentials - some clean up bags and a 'pooper-scooper' for when we go for walks, a long beach lead, some shampoo and a pink lead to match her pretty pink collar.

Then we were off to visit the vets. Bronte's first vet visit went so well, she is one-hundred percent fit and even made friends with a thirteen-year-old Labrador in the waiting room!

Dr. Andy, pictured here with Bronte, has just opened a new vet practice at Casuarina, 'Vet Love', and we knew we would love her to be Bronte's doctor as soon as we heard about her new business. Andy's husband, Josh, mentioned in this post from 2014, is a friend of my eldest son and both Josh and Andy show such gentle kindness and love towards the animals in their care. :)

Thank you so very much for the stars and hearts you have all been leaving lately! Bronte and I appreciate all of the blip-love coming our way and I will return your visits when time permits. Having a new puppy in the house is like having a new baby...and speaking of babies...we WILL have a new baby in the house, (one of the human variety) within the next two or three weeks! Adam and Mary's little boy is close to his due date, so this family is a-buzz with baby-love, preparations, and anticipation just now!
