Onteora

This morning, I left Long Island to head upstate to Onteora Scout Reservation, the Land in the Sky. We arrived around 10:00 and checked in to camp. After taking a troop picture and the swim test in the lake, we walked to our site and settled in. My troop has the site for two weeks and this is the second week, so most of the major structures were already in place. I picked a tent out with Nick and we set up camp. This is a picture of the longhouse, where we eat all of our meals. It's never quiet in here. There was an opening campfire by the lake tonight and the staff put on skits for the campers. After that, we headed to the site and called it a night.
