I feel a bit like this blip - very tiny and being in France I just want to hide away!

I've always has an interest in "unintended consequences" - I wonder if Mr Putin is rubbing his hands with glee at the prospect of a diminished and fragmented Europe. Can he have further aspirations for annexation now?
