Billy No-mates!

I have been back to my 'old' school today - I retired from there two years ago - to photograph the young children in their sports day.  the morning was fine - breezy with contrasting light but no rain.  The afternoon started well but then a heavy downpour meant it was impossible to continue.  Fortunately most races had been completed by then.

Here we have the scorer valiantly working out the final scores to see which House had won.  Everyone else had gone indoors (except the photographer of course!).  Despite the rain, it had been a lovely day and it was so nice to see past colleagues again.  Looking around I came to the conclusion that nothing changes really!
