An Upgrade

The front block plane is a replacement for the other one. It appeared in yesterday's blip, but unless you're a woodworker you probably didn't notice it. 

It's made by Veritas Tools in Canada, and was chosen as one of the best in a Fine Woodworking magazine review. I am delighted with it -- it fits my hand perfectly and is a joy to use. Just look at those perfect shavings!

I've bought several tools recommended by Fine Woodworking and they've all been great.
