Blackshaw Moor day 2 Road trip

Ps gone off to a wedding I've had fun with the dogs discovering a new place.

We stopped in Blackshaw Moor last night on our campsite and when I pulled up I noticed the two flags, I thought it was to do with the football!

Not till today did I realise on taking a dog walk that our campsite sits on the old Polish resettlement camp.

It was home to soldiers and their families from 1946 to 1964.
It's well worth reading about, on our walk we discovered plaques telling us all about the various things.

Roo discovered this old accommodation hut which would have housed 2 families or 4 soldiers.

Luckily the rain has held off as tomorrow we start the next part of our road trip exciting:))
