Tickle your taste buds

Back Blip, Saturday.

Always a special treat to stay here on our way home, and a meal to look forward to from one year to the next.
Each year we come we always say it is the best meal we have ever had, and every year it gets better.
This year was no exception, and all the courses were a work of art to look at and even better to taste.
I call it perfection. Probably not to everyone's taste, but it is certainly to ours.
The combinations of taste, textures and flavours are wonderful. A treat to our taste buds.
Chef Phillippe Michel, at Hotel Restaurant La Marande, Montbellet, cooks from the heart, and has just been awarded his first Michelin star, which I think was long over due.

Top left the fish course:
Creviche de dorade royale...etc.
Top right:
L'Amuse Bouche.....Pea mouse, basil sorbet and tomato brulee.
Mignardise.
Cheese course; Delice de Bourgogne....etc.
Bottom Left:  Pluma Iberico........etc.
Bpttom middle: Peche blanche.......etc.
Even the butter is beautifully presented and tasted better than any I have tasted before.
Not a meal I would want every week, but  look forward to going back next year.
