This picture is of a Thames 'beach' taken as I passed while taking part in the CRY Heart of London Bridges Sponsored walk today in memory of Alex Camilleri who died age 21 from an undiagnosed heart condition.

I joined Suzy (Alex's mum) Jessie (Alex's best friend) and others to make a team of 9. It was very emotional reading the 'walking in memory of...' Signs on people's tshirts and pictures of their young loved ones who had been taken away though sudden cardiac death.

Every week in the UK at least 12 fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed heart conditions. CRY strives to prevent all young sudden cardiac deaths. http://www.c-r-y.org.uk/
