Still Standing

M still feeling horrible about the referendum, but we went to see S & J and the tiny huge children in the evening. Had a lovely, if disorganised time, with M teaching J to make pizza dough.
An unexpected bonus was a free Elton John concert in the stadium opposite. We didn't have as good a view as these lassies (in fact no glimpse of the stage), but the sound quality was pretty good! The set-list was exactly as you would expect, probably the whole of Yellow Brick Rd, and the rest of the No 1 singles.
Brought back memories of seeing Prince perform there from the same vantage point. But then the set-up was different and we got a view of one of the giant screens, also saw the tiny Purple One himself when he went to the extreme left hand side of the stage :)
