I've seen a few lifeboats in lifeboat stations over the years but this one in Bembridge seemed quite large, it also seemed pretty new and obviously was full of the latest technology. While looking at this fantastic machine, I couldn't help reflecting back on a wonderful group of brave men through the decades that have manned these craft. Be it the smallest rowing boats at the beginning to these wonderful state of the art, modern, powerful machines we have today.
