Fair Isle

Took the overnight ferry from Kirkwall to Lerwick then flew out on the first flight from Tingwall. It's a good day for a visit. Plenty of puffins. One popped up from its burrow right at CMCs feet.

We are being well looked after at the Bird Observatory.
