Can't see the sea for the trees!

I walk up and and down Jacob's Ladder - a flight of 144 steps - most days as it's my short cut down to the centre of town. Although I make a lot of fuss about people forever cutting trees down in the town I think that even I might agree that a little selective pruning would not go amiss at one of the two viewpoints!
