Chinook over the Chattri

Chinook helicopters regularly overfly this part of Sussex - for what reason I am currently unaware (maybe it is meant to be that way!)

Anyway, we were not expecting a Chinook to fly over us today, as Mrs Catspaw and I took a break from the final stages of our house move for me to show her the Chattri (which she had never seen before, except in my photos) up on the Downs.

Today's 'Extra' shows the Chinook as it flew overhead heading eastwards at around 13:55 as we were still on our way to the Chattri. It then took a wide loop in the direction of Lewes before heading back westward: the superposition of the helicopter over the Chattri at around 14:02 on its 'return' flight just had to be my main 'Blip' for today.
