Leanachan Forest Dog Walk

A strange and fortuitus day for the dogs.

Ahead of our trip to Inverness they got a quick 3 mile walk at Upper Inverroy with the intention of an early afternoon visit from family to see they were okay at home.

Our youngest sadly took unwell in the car and we had to turn back 3 miles out from home. Thankfully he felt much better within an hour or so but there was no point in setting off by then and we certainly didn't want to risk him being sick again.
The dogs said "we know what you can do now" so they got a second 5 mile circuit at Leanachan too.
There is a danger of the more they get the more they want. There was no signs of lethargy from either Bruce or Caley and there was the usual swim and carry on at the end of the walk too. While it was wet and showery in the morning our Leanachan walk was completed dry and the big dark clouds sweeping around the hills retained their contents for somewhere else and even parted to give us some warm sunshine.

So that's it, eight miles tomorrow.
