Who Needs the Bahamas?

Backblip 7

With beaches like this one at Borth, why go abroad?  A lovely sunny day, so we took to the coast again to admire the wonderful scenery and enjoy a walk over the amazing sand dunes at this lovely location. (see extras)

The area was covered with beautiful grasses and wild flowers, most of which we could identify.  However there was one yellow one which was new to us (see extras) and I'd love it if someone could tell me what it is:-)

Later, we drove north through Machynlleth, well known for its clock tower and the Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT).  We carried on to visit the Craft Centre at Corris, which was a bit of a disappointment as these overly-commercial ventures often are.

We ended the day with a ride on the Electric Cliff Railway in Aberystwyth, the longest in the UK and which gave wonderful views over the Bay and the town.  (see extras)

Packing tonight to move on tomorrow to visit MIL in Hampshire.  So sad to be leaving Wales and we will definitely return:-)
