Solace: Day11

Lots of lovely views today. We're on a particularly nice bit of the Trent& Mersey Canal. I went for a walk into Alrewas to do some shopping, a pretty little village.

Today we joined the River Trent for a very short while. We were told to check the warning boards to make sure the river was suitably navigable.

I could fill my two week's blips just showing the place we moored each evening. Such pretty places, even tonight when we are parked up beside Marley Tile Works. So peaceful and just along the towpath there was a woodland walk leading to a mere, part of Branston Water Park, former gravel pits.

So, reflected reeds win today.
