Steep street

Just up from the surgery where we had to go this morning so that Steve could make an appointment for a blood test. This street is very much steeper than it looks in the photo, and we try and avoid walking up if at all possible. And when it rains........

The trip out to look at firewood yesterday evening wasn't quite what we thought. Yes there is wood but we'd have to fell the dead pine trees and chop them up before transporting. There is a law against chopping down pine trees, but we're not sure if it applies to dead ones. We think the neighbour may also be under the impression that we know how to prune almond and olive trees...... well doesn't everybody? But we don't!
