The Fallen

Staying with the theme of remembrance one more day, I called in on the Colne WW1 commemorations.

Unfortunately torrential rain spoiled things for the parade and outdoor events but in the market, I found these photographs of local men who fell and a map with red pins showing the fallen of Colne.

Passing through Oakworth on the way home, I just got through before the Gala Procession - the weather was a little kinder to them but only just.

Just love the Pipes and Drums.
