Confused?

...or just fashionably late to the party?  Most of our cacti have gone into the business of maturing fruit and seeds or growing, in general.  But this one thinks it's still spring.  Unfortunately, most pollen is rendered infertile by our extreme heat, so these flowers probably won't contribute much more than a little colorful beauty.
