Six-Spotted Burnet Moth in Man Shed Heaven!

This morning we walked into town to get a map and hiking leaflets from tourist information as they were only open between 10 and 12 on Sundays. After looking at the nearby walks we bought a snack from a cafe and headed towads the Leutascher Geisterklamm Gorge.  Lots of steep paths through a forest, past the German/Austrian border and then across a metal bridge that went right across the fast flowing river. I'm not great with heights so gave Rik the camera to get any shots of how high up we were. Coming back down we realised we were hungry and that we'd been out for longer than we meant to be so headed back for lunch on the balcony in the sunshine.

Late afternoon we set out for the hummocky meadows of Bucklewiesen fairly nearby. We did start to walk until we discovered there were no paths on the main road. We were out for for two and a half hours walking on country roads with wildflower meadows full of insects and the occasional flock of sheep or goats. There were also a very large amount of sheds of different sizes dotted around the landscape, see extra photo. Rik and TheAphid had some fanciful discussions of the theory of why there were so many of them which kept them highly amused for the remainder of the walk. Just near the car we saw Coal Tits flitting between fir trees, they were very vocal and very fast, much like Long-tail Tits.

Thanks for all the stars for yesterday's cloister wide angle shot and apologies for lack of comments.
