3 leaves

One of those days of "What to Blip?"  These leaves are from the redbud tree.  The dry summer heat of nearly 100 every day is taking a toll on it; they are falling on the ground more every day.

We really need one of those all day rains instead of a 20 minute thunderstorm where the rain is so hard and fast it rolls off the brick-like ground and goes to the ditch in front of the house.   The weeds are growing well there but the grass is looking kind of straggly.  The good thing is we don't have to mow as often..usually over a week between mowing.  

Summer in the South..I used to not mind the heat but I really hate it now.
