London Road

What a magnificent day - specially made for walking 'on the tops' in the South Pennines.
This is London Road, Mankinholes (a small hamlet on the moors between Todmorden and Hebden Bridge).  I have no idea why it's called London Road.  Over the years I've walked it from one end to the other - in both directions - and never got to London :-)

I'm afraid if you zoom in on this view, you will see some of those pesky wind turbines on the skyline - but I promise not to comment :-(
