Cornflower

We headed to Tatton for a morning walk, but huge queues on the roads to get there - an American Car Show, drawing in big numbers. We're not bothered by car shows.

So we diverted to Dunham. A look around the house, which is this year focussed on the scandal of the 7th Earl of Stamford and his second wife - a bit of a circus girl, not from the right class. It's done well.

There is a wonderful wildflower bank near the visitor centre, which I snapped happily at. And the gardens are looking good, although they'll soon be well beyond their best.
