Along the Outlet Track

Because it was so windy, we parked our cars at Beacon Point, then headed along the Outlet Track to Albert Town.  I was lovely and calm walking through the Kanuka Trees beside the Clutha River.  There were 16 of us who enjoyed the walk.  We had our lunch at the end of the track by the poplars trees, then walked back to our cars.  Probably a distance of 10 k's.  We had a nice cuppa and chat at one of the local cafe's.  It wasn't very cold, +12C in fact.  Still no snow!

This photo is of Pianolady who had taken a photo down by the lake, and was heading back to the track to join the other walkers.  She always wears bright colours when she goes walking, so is a good subject to photograph!

The extra is of the group beside the Clutha River.  Even Tussock from tussocktales is posing beautifully for the photo!
