Conference

Early morning train to Glasgow and then an interesting DWP Conference on employability for homeless and marginalised people, 'See Potential'. Some inspiring speakers, including our CEO, and a less inspiring speech from SB founder that I'd heard a year ago. Great PR but little substance. Meanwhile I had an interesting connection with a potential partner who wants to start homelessness rugby in Edinburgh and a really good meeting with DH, head of DWP Scotland. It was good to see the folk from team who were there get vout abs make connections and to catch up with former colleague, Ken from Aberdeen.

Came back on the bus and the further East I went the wetter it got. Now its seriously raining which is why 'my' blackbird is hunting worms.
