Wood's adventures

O is for...

OAPs onboard.

Given how often these two proudly exclaim about their 50p bus rides from the Isle of Skye to Glasgow and their over 50s swimming sessions, I am sure they won't mind the moniker which fits this photo into the challenge... And yes, I do tell them off when they go shopping during working people's lunch breaks.

This morning Ad, Gretal and I sploshed along the loch and got great views of the outer Isles on our wander out and the Cuillins as we returned. This afternoon we took a boat trip with Mum and Dad from Portree Harbour and were lucky enough to see a Sea Eagle preening itself on a tree branch, a couple of seals, some gullimots and lots of great views. One piece of the ragged coastline looks that ragged because there is no land between it and the artic circle! Even though it didn't rain and we got some sun, it was pretty chilly.

We did take some better pictures than this, but I can't be 100% sure who had the camera when, so here are Mum and Dad with the black Cuillins behind them.
