Camouflage

These things are a bugger to find normally. They can be heard no problem but they normally go quiet as soon as you approach, and then hop off if you get within sniffing distance. So, it was a pretty good spot by Euan when we managed to sneak up on this earlier. Didn't even notice that there were two of them until the second one started chirping away, and they didn't scarper even when I poked the camera in there. Well camouflaged though.

We took a quick trip back down to where Thursday's camping carnage had taken place and was really pleased to see the local Council had been true to their word and their 'Community Payback' unpaid work team had gone down on Sunday and cleared the site. They even took the time to send us a photo of all of the waste they'd collected as it was loaded on to the back of their truck. It'd be nice to think that some of those responsible for that little mess last week might end up on a similar payback jaunt some day.

Kudos to the Council though, was well impressed with that response.
