Mousa

After a quick visit to Nielanell this morning we took the afternoon crossing to Mousa. This small island is famous for its well preserved Iron Age broch which you can see here. It's huge. There are also many nesting birds on Mousa and seal pups too. There were only 7 visitors on our trip so it was lovely and quiet. We managed to avoid the protective/aggressive terns and bonxies. Saw a Shetland wren which was a treat.

My extra is Sandsayre where the boat leaves for Mousa
