Bog Cotton

The bog cotton is having a vintage year in Shetland. This particular patch is up at Eshaness in the north west mainland. To show you what Eshaness is like I've included an extra of the sea crashing over the rocks at the foot of the spectacular cliffs. And this was on a day with next to no wind. We had a wonderful walk along the cliffs, met four rescued seal pups at Hillswick and had a wander on the beach at Muckle Roe. The sun has smiled on us all day and we are delighted with our Shetland holiday.
