Test Run

Beagles aren't natural retrievers, so I've gone to great pains to teach Hound to bring the ball back. Why? Well it sometimes stops him making his own fun, which invariably is not fun for both of us. He likes pretending to be a gun dog in the long grass for a short while, before he reverts to his default of Hound of the Baskervilles.

I suppose we'll know in the morning whether tonight's moor walk was good for the back. Either way, it was great to be out on such a beautiful evening.
