Your FED-EX shipment might by late....

Well I spotted this old closed truck stop a long time ago and lately has become a graveyard of miscalculations, ignoring the law, not paying attention and... Right across from it is an all modern truck stop with technology all over it.. From free WI-FI in the building,  paid up to 300 feet away in the cab of the truck, to satellite communications for corporate communications and... 

Then you have a poor trailer that was likely blown over in the wind. Seen way to many in a whole variety of torn apart conditions... The law is clear and the ticket is very expensive. As for the technology.. A cell phone will get you road conditions (wind, accidents, snow...), most states have cameras everywhere aimed at the highways.. in real time you can see the actual road and verify the conditions, then you have big road signs that via a satellite link can be updated in real time..

Now I get to that poor FEX-EX trailer.. I have seen many fires the started inside the trailer before. Yes it is very important to declare flammable stuff.. What could have happened is a something was improperly packaged, or a direct short happened on a lithium battery, two liquids that are supposed to be separate or.. As for the technology.. In real time the fire department with little effort can get called, faxed, emailed what is exactly in that trailer so they know how to fight the fire (in some cases water makes it worse) If the truck rolled over most companies have an auto 911 call with a sudden stop.. With the GPS the company knows exactly where the equipment is, and...

Will be back in Utah in the morning if all goes well.. Gotta run the government says I must sleep in 30 minutes.. But that's another story..
