Liberty Airport Terminal

So this is the beginning of the back blips. 

The first day of a week in New York and New Jersey. 

United now fly from Edinburgh to Newark, which is a great deal easier than Edinburgh - Heathrow - JFK - Princeton. So after getting up an hour earlier than normal I hopped on a bus up to the airport and seven hours later found myself waiting for a New Jersey Transit train. 

My hostess welcomed me with open arms and fed me hot dogs and burgers just as you would expect. 

I tried to stay awake as long as I could to adjust to the time zone but by nine o'clock I was zonked and pottered off to bed.
