Mirrored Manchester

Today we drove into Manchester as we were meeting up with fellow retirees from Aviva for our summer get together!

I took my wide angle lens in the hope of capturing something incorporating Reflections, for Bobsblips Wide Angle Wednesday challenge.

The sky was pretty overcast this morning, so not the best for reflective photography, but this particular shot stood out, as the one to blip for today :-)

There were around 35 of us for lunch, a good number, considering quite a few are on holidays. We had to move to a new venue too, which worked out really well, everyone was happy with the food, we had lovely cod & chips, which is half the battle ;-)

One of my old team/friend came along today; we hadn't seen her for 17 years, she's had some health issues, but we were so pleasantly surprised to see her looking remarkably well!

Time flew by and before we knew it it was late afternoon and time to say farewell until January!!

Home, baskets and containers watered, now watching Andy Murray playing very well....then later it will be Come on Wales!!!!!
