Colour in a Green World

Probably my last visit to Weston Park before I have to finalise my images for the exhibition in September.  The park is VERY green!  That is in the main due to the great growing conditions and the time of year.

Still there is always interest if you look closely.  This primrose is part of the new planting around a small water cascade at the bottom of Temple Pool.  Earlier this year I bumped into an engineer by the cascade who was surveying for a pump system to ensure the cascade flowed all year.  The question is whether it had been fitted, or whether the good old English weather is still providing all the water that is needed!
