Pebbly Beach

After the excitement of yesterday we decided to try to go the to 'seaside'. Cromer was heaving so we headed down the coast and ended up on a pebble beach for a picnic lunch. Actually as far a Jim and I was concerned a pebble beach is preferable to a sandy one. Jim took the kids down to the waters edge and looked at various stones, jumped waves and built a few stone towers.

On the way back we did stop in Cromer for a walk on the pier as neither of the kids had ever done that before. We had a look at the lifeboat at the end, which lead to a number of questions from Carys. Then we had an icecream and headed back to the tent.
