Happy Families

A strange Friday.

Woken before 5am by the heavy rain. Couldn't get back to sleep, so got up.

No wifi. In fact, no internet or telephone. So, did a pile of ironing and pre-cooked dinner before starting work.

The sun came out by 8am and the internet returned about 11am. My good mood returned too.

Needless to say, my lunch was followed quickly by a nap. After that some sea air, coffee and cake (yes, again) was the plan.

The Harbour Bistro in Dysart has turned quite cosmopolitan since word spread about it being an Outlander filming location last year. It seems some folk tour around to see these places.

North American and Spanish speaking voices in there today. The Spanish speakers and the staff were struggling for a meeting of minds about "stovies".

The Blip is just the summer holiday, seaside scene. Sunshine. Sea. Campervan. Family picnic, pre-occupied by stopping the dog from eating it all.
