A Skylark for Flower Friday

I had a lovely but breezy walk through the community orchard where I met a tiger (see extra), through the wood and then up onto the ridge. I heard Yellowhammers and heard and saw lots of Skylarks, plus the odd Pheasant.  There were so many Marbled Whites and Ringlets in the parkland, I was spoilt for choice.  Lots of bugs too.

This juvenile Skylark took my fancy though hanging on  for dear life to an old Cow Parsley branch.  Looks better in large if you've time.

Tennis.  I've just eaten my allotted two squares of Bournville.

Enjoy your weekend, it's crammed with sport.
