Morning After

We finally had a wicked storm last night that brought a very heavy rain with it.  Already, the green is returning to the grass...

This little goldfinch had something stuck to its beak.  I watched it work hard at removing it before heading to the feeder for some seed.  Birds...what would I do without them??  ; )
