Chamois Day

I could see them high up on a hillside, the biggest herd of chamois I have ever seen. From a distance, in the first photo I took, I counted 56! The trouble was they were so far up and there was no path. Of course they left, having spotted my hunting efforts, before I could actually get really good shots except for this trusting fella, a young male. Check out his beard!
