Eleven Lighthouses in a Row

How about that for a change.... Eleven lighthouses in a row and no sea - just a lake - in sight.

The architect, Th Steemers of the Rotterdam based Marge Architects explains that these eleven (light)houses are a beacon shining their light over the dark nightly lake.

Each tower has a diameter of 7,5 meters and a hight of 15 meters and is attached to the rest of the home behind it.

They are all on an artificial island that is connected to the mainland by a very special bridge, namely an actual old passenger ferry boat!

A really unique and bizar sight in Carnisselande / Barendrecht. for those wanting to investigate more or visit it. the street is called waddenring.

Have a nice weekend, thanks for visiting my page!
