Orbiting

Four years ago today, we had a memorable day when Annie carried the Olympic Torch as part of the torch relay. Today took us back to 2012, we were in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. We'd booked to take a ride on the recently opened slide aound the Orbit, the world's tallest and longest (178 metres) tunnel slide. Well anything that claims to be the world's tallest/longest/fastest usually grabs our attention if it's accessible. It was well worth the trip, all four of us really enjoyed it and the view from the platform at the top was great, despite the rather overcast sky. You can see the slide in the blip, it's the grey tube starting from near the top and decending in many spirals.
