The French Are Coming!

I woke up in New Jersey this morning and look who I bumped into as I was wandering around town! See his friends in the extra photo.

The plaque reads...

General George Washington and Colonel Alexander Hamilton are advised at Morristown by the Marquis De Lafayette that the French are coming to support the American cause.
May 10, 1780

This town is considered the military capital of the American Revolution and was also significant in the US Civil War. Maybe I should come here more frequently to brush up on my American History!
