Hilsfest Today

Day two of the Hillsborough Community festival in the park.  Lot's of exciting activities to see including some spectacular juggling with fire sticks.  There was also things to take part in - a whole inflatable dome of activities put on by Sheffield College (and friends).  We passed the chainsaw sculptors when we first arrived and later the children had an opportunity to sit on Arthur and Merlins chair, made for a film by sculptor Lorraine Botterell, who I think is carving the horse in my extra.

We were intending to go on and see the elephant sculptures in the city centre, but by two pm our two were exhausted and so we (eventually) got the tram back to our car and set off on our journey back to Horsforth and home.  One was asleep before we'd left the city outskirts and the other before we reached the motorway.  A good day though, oh and Bobby learnt to swing all by himself.  Another milestone
