The Kelpies.

There is a new statue in George Street, a brother to the kelpies out at Falkirk. This one is wearing a headdress of ostrich plumes. The nearby jewellery shop is selling coasters and beakers with the kelpies images, but it was the drawing that caught my eye. 

Imagine if the statues had been full bodied? Not just the heads.
