Olympic Super Saturday Reprise...

Wow, what an afternoon of success for British Sport. First of all Lewis Hamilton wins Silverstone and gets himself to with 4 points of Rosberg in the championship. Then Chris Froome retains his yellow jersey in the Tour de France, and shortly afterwards Andy Murray wins Wimbledon for a second time. I'm a keen tennis fan so I have been glued to the television over the last fortnight and seen nearly all of Andy's progress. I thought it was a well deserved win which he has striven so hard to get after his back surgery. His level of concentration throughout the game was immaculate as was his ability to return serve. Fancy winning outright the return of the second fastest serve in the whole of Wimbledon history (147mph). No wonder there were the inevitable tears after the game as he just puts so much of himself into winning. And then, the cherry on the cake was Heather Watson returning to tennis after a wrist injury and losing  in the first round of the singles , then going on to win the mixed doubles tournament  with her Finnish partner, Henri Kontinen. It will take me a while to wind down after all that success.

My apologies to Heather for mixing her up with Laura !
